In our last 4 days in Quepos we were able to get together with the friends on 3 different occasions.

There was also a pool/cookout party and a small dessert and coffee get together with two other couples but those photos seem to be hiding from me! But getting to have some fun and growing to know the other friends has been a blast!
The Last Days
That phrase always brings on a mix of happy and sad emotions. This time is no different. As our trip draws to a close we are inclined to reflect on the friends we've made, the lessons we've learned, and the memories we'll never forget.

Our experience is one that cannot be understood outside of Jehovah's organization. Our host family, whom we had never met before, greeted us with a warm embrace and then handed over the keys to their home and never questioned whether or not we could be trusted. The friends in the hall were never strangers. In just the 5 weeks that we have had here we are just as sad to leave as we are happy to see our friends back home.
We've always been told, and have experienced to a certain degree, that we are a worldwide family but this has been an eye-opener. We encourage anyone that can to try out foreign service even if it's for a week! There are hardships but the blessings far outweigh anything that Satan can throw at you.
